Born in New Zealand he was exposed at an early age to the melancholy timbre of Bille Holiday which forever shapes the texture of his music. Using worn out cassettes and broken tape decks Langsaw creates vivid and dynamic songs which can feel uplifting, intense, brooding, and warm.
