Larry Mindel makes music that draws on folk and jazz traditions. His songs see people in out of the way places -the frozen Antarctic, a wetlands in New Zealand, the Australian outback, Suffolk lowlands, remote Scottish islands... Larry came to music late in life. He has always written songs, made private mixtapes, and gigged in various bands. Only now, in his 70s, is he hitting his stride!
