LASHES’ journey into music commenced at the tender age of seven, when a realised restlessness towards learning traditional music theory ignited a lifelong passion for musical experimentation and heart-on-sleeve songwriting. Self-taught and driven by collaboration, the Ballarat-raised, Melbourne-dwelling artist has aligned herself with a brilliant lineup of local producers, and combines sincere lyrical narratives with infectious melodies to create an evocative and relatable brand of alt-pop.
