Earning his stripes as time-keeper in many a cover band, Lauda (Louder) aka Nick Bridgman has deftly transitioned to composer/ producer, and has snuck in under the radar with his debut release, Underwater. Conceived from a desire to pursue a creative vision beyond a traditional band setting, Lauda draws on an eclectic mix of influences combined with ear-catching beats to produce original soundscapes. Teaming up with vocalists Hilary Cole (Kinky Boots) and Pat O'Brien (Royal East), Lauda reveals a vivid imagination coupled with formal music training to deliver an ear-worthy debut. Fans of the Presets, SBTRKT and James Blake will find something to like.
