Laura Bell is an indie/pop singer-songwriter based in Sydney, originally hailing from the coastal town of Port Macquarie. Laura Bell's music career began at 17 when she graduated from the prestigious Talent Development Project in 2005 alongside 11 other musicians including Aria Award winner Angus Stone and two-time Golden Guitar nominee Katrina Burgoyne. She started her songwriting journey some years later as one half of the acoustic indie/pop duo Laura & Bruno. Their effortless harmonies, resonatingly raw lyrics and captivating live shows saw them perform at venues such as White Revolver, Café lounge, live on 99.3FM's "Jumping with James", The Brass Monkey supporting Microwave Jenny, and the Festival of the Sun after party. Laura & Bruno recorded their self-titled EP at Studios 301 which they launched at The Vanguard in Sydney. Laura Bell's sweet and quirky ditties are sticking in heads and gaining praise wherever they go. 'Only Girl' reached the Triple J Unearthed indie charts
