I'm a small town local who has always been infatuated with the intense emotion music and lyrics can pull out from within oneself. Music is a way to release the grip on the mask that one holds up every day and it can transport you to places of the unimaginable. I've grown up in a musically gifted family and have been writing songs since I was 12. My songs mainly reflect the struggles many individuals face in our oppressive world. I received minor lessons in piano then gave it up to teach myself further and rely more on playing be ear. I now teach basic piano lessons and take Music ATAR at school, majoring on composition. This is a severely underdeveloped course and many students would be able to shine if it were given more attention. Put simply, I love music. What more is there to say?
