Lauren grew up near the beach in the inner south suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. She was raised on a mix of 70's and 80's pop, country and classical music. Lauren grew up with a musical family so there was always a piano or organ around. At an early age she showed talent in music and played multiple instruments including classical Cello and Piano. In her later teens Lauren discovered guitar to help with her song writing but she would later realise it was her voice that was most important to master. Lauren studied music in her 20's but decided to have some years away to try and be a grown up, only to realise that without music being at the centre of her life, she couldn't grow at all. So, she has come full circle with more drive and creative spark then ever before. Lauren is a proud LGBTIQ+ PoP artist and makes a point of referencing her wife and "her" in her music. She believes there isn't enough artist who refer to their same sex relationships and only elude to it . Lauren
