Lauren Amery is a 22 year old singer/songwriter from regional Victoria. Being born and bread on a farm, Lauren began songwriting at the age of 10 as a way of expressing her deep passion for life itself. Sometimes feeling a little cut off from the world Lauren began to harness these feelings, expressing her experiences through passionate lyrics and catchy melodies. From humble beginnings on the farm to becoming Music Director of ‘Xtreme Youth’ Band at age 18, life has opened up many opportunities for Lauren. ‘Crave’ Concert was birthed in 2001 and went on to become one of the largest regional Music Youth Events around, attracting 1,000 Youth to their last event in 2006. Taking up studies in Music Performance and Composition she is always looking for new ideas. Having the ability to play guitar, keys, drums, and sing, Lauren offers a versatility of style often envied by others.
