Laurie Cave is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Winchester in the UK, who now resides in Melbourne’s inner north. Originally starting on the piano and hating it, Cave quickly moved to the guitar and started writing his own music at age 11. From the first moment he picked up his Squire electric guitar he knew he didn't want to play other people's songs - he wanted to write his own. Now known for his hook-driven blend of Americana and indie rock, Cave has truly arrived in the Melbourne music scene with his debut release, ‘Nobody Could Ever Love You’ with producer James Seymour - a heart-on-chest anthem that bursts out of the gates. Followed up with the gut-wrenching Indie Rock epic 'Perfect Lover'. Both his debut and sophomore singles were picked up by Triple J Unearthed, with 'Perfect Lover' also being showcased on BBC Introducing in the UK.
