Known for their eclectic sound, Lazer Baby evolved from diverse musical backgrounds. The 6-piece collective have come from a string of music endeavours as broad as metal and jazz but their music stems from a mutual love and fusion of many genres including hip hop and R&B. A typical Lazer Baby track can be both sweet and aggressive, combining their quirky arrangements with a playful rhythm section and a feisty horn section to match. The band has played prominent Tasmanian music festivals such as Falls Festival, Party In the Paddock, FauxMo and Junction as well as supporting interstate artists such as Jungle Giants, SUPEREGO, Northeast Party House, Winston Surfshirt and Alice Ivy.
