THE STORY OF LE SHLONK Mid-summer 2004 - In the crux of a late night spa-bq in Melbournes East, three very best friends made the spontaneous decision to form a band. Little did they know it would change their lives forever. Coming from a range of musical backgrounds: Chris (BOWmachine/Guitar/Vox), BamBam (Hit-Stuff/Drums) & Stu (Butter/Bass) were to embark on a collaboration of creative harmony. Their influences met at a junction of singable vocal hooks, funk rhythms, blues-rock, and solid groove. Le Shlonks songs will carry you on a dynamic journey in a fast car through a raucous city, then tippee-toe to a quiet cul-de-sac where you can reflect before climbing a mountain with a hot spa-bath at the top complete with purring vixens!
