Edit history

"LEAFY SUBURBS" is an alias of Perth musician Lyndon Blue (also of Seams, Solar Barge, Spirit Level and more). Electronic, found and damaged sounds swimming together in pools of light and mud. Free improvisation and field recordings mingle with ambient textures, fractured beats, haunting drones and oblique melodies. Leafy Suburbs has released two albums ("Slow Light," Pouring Dream Records 2014; "Honda Jazz," Moontown Records, 2016), two EPs ("Psychic Lease," Indigo Children 2015; "Blushes", Roof Garden Records, 2017) and a split cassette with Sacred Flower Union (2012). Leafy Suburbs has had the pleasure of supporting the likes of Hiatus Kaiyote, Shigeto, Pikelet, Kučka and many other sound-heroes.
