Perth-based Australian Gothic / dark folk artist Leah Grant released solo debut EP ‘Vol. 1’ in 2020 -recorded with producer Mitch McDonald (The Love Junkies) and then spent the next 18 months (during covid chaos) working on their follow up EP ‘Vol. 2’. With the astute production of Mark McEwan and Brodie Simpson, this sophomore EP is a dark and at times dreamlike collection that explores multitudes of sounds and dynamics. Leah has performed support slots for some of Australia’s great songwriters including Paul Dempsey, Jack Botts and Perth’s own Matt Camarano, Sam Carmody and Tanaya Harper, as well as featuring on Draphts like a version for triple J. Leah has received airplay on Double J and RTR FM. Leah is currently working on their third release, which is set to be another dark, raw and emotional collection of stories.
