Leda & Caleb create raw, stripped back music thats emotional and dark, but still strangely pretty. Vocalist Caleb Sheppard haunts with mellow tones and cletic style yodel licks, and features playing percussion from glockenspiel to footstomp, to bass drum. Leda Scott gives the duo the body and fullness they express with precise and flowing guitar picking, ranging from flat bass, fireside acoustic, and grungey electric. The sound is a little bit indie, a little bit cabaret, a little bit roots and a little bit folk, but a lot Leda & Caleb
