Heavily influenced by 90’s hip-hop, Lee’s sound is a bold mix of heavy beats and self-conscious lyrics. Capturing a slice of Australian life that we can all relate to, Lee is an artist in tune with the world around him. Lee defines his style as ‘conscious hip-hop’, offering sharp rhymes that flow with intricate meanings, hidden messages and plenty of depth. Influences include artists such as Gangstarr, Nas, Masta Ace, Apathy, Eminem, Hilltop Hoods, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Big L, Cunninlynguists, J. Cole, Bliss n Eso, Rakim, R.A The Rugged Man, J Dilla, MF Doom, and Talib Kweli. After releasing mixtapes in 2010 & 2013, Lee has continued to impress fans and critics alike. Lee had released his debut EP in 2018, ‘Society Trap’, built from nine songs that perfectly illustrate his flow and dexterity, ‘Society Trap’ hits with a fresh, uncompromising sound, one that is instantly recognisable and impossible to deny. After a 4 year hiatus, Lee released 7 singles in 2022 with more to come!
