Liam Robert Eaton grew up in the northern suburbs of Brisbane where there ain’t a whole lot to do. Skateboarding, drawing, and old punk music were his standard time-killers. At age 16 he drummed violently in a punk band with buddies, playing underage at shady licensed venues in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. Yet beneath the punk, lay a hereditary love for songwriters like <em>Dylan</em> and <em>Young</em> that would change his musical trajectory. After schooling, he immersed himself in Brisbane’s busy music scene - active most notably in <strong>The Honey Month</strong>, <strong>Silent Feature</strong>, and <strong>Machine Age</strong>. Having collaborated with so many other songwriters, the conception of his own baby was merely a formality, adopting the curious stage name <strong>LEEBONE PHILLIPS</strong>. Compulsively writing, Phillips finally commenced a series of recordings in his one bedroom apartment in New Farm during the summer of 2017. With a reasonable dose of unreasonable
