Leela Misel is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter born in Australia, with Indonesian and Malaysian Tamil heritage. Her sound is rock, blues and soul — powerful vocals, guitar, and a flute that few rock artists bring to the stage. She has been performing live for close to three decades. Her original music explores identity, burnout, family, and finding stillness. Her debut single Switch reached the Melbourne Semi-Finals of the Australian Songwriting Prize (Listen Up Music) and earned an Honourable Mention. Latest single: Take Me To Your Water (January 2026).
