Many would describe the known sound of Melbournes's 'Leftfield Luxury' as a blend of energetic Psychedelic Rock and Post Punk Officially forming in 2017 through high school mateships, four-piece band 'Leftfield Luxury' developed their sound playing gigs and house parties. 2019 saw the band releasing their debut EP, playing their first headliners, winning a spot on the 'All Ages Tour' line-up via triple J unearthed with 'Ruby Fields' and 'Baker Boy', packing out local shows, later releasing their single 'Fake ID', and opening the main stage at Spilt Milk Festival. While COVID-19 presented a new wave of boundaries, post lockdown presents a refreshed 'Leftfield Luxury', with a completely new set of songs inspired by the styles Psychedelic Rock, Grunge and Post Punk.
