Legions of Mary formed in mid 2007. Its members consisting of two girls and a guy having performed in many other popular Brisbane & Melbourne based bands ranging from Street Kid Vandal, The New Jack Ruby's, The Fondells & The No Bodies. Their initial forming came from a desire to slam the Brisbane music scene with some old school rock attitude such as Play Hard, Rock Hard and get off your ass and dance. Some members were feeling that the rock scene in brisbane had been lagging and slowly going to sleep and needed a wake up call. No fancy effects, no bullshit just and honest hard rock sound mixed with some good'ol fashioned punk sentiment.
