If words have life and music has a mind, Lelu are tirelessly creating and recreating their confused existence. As happens when young boys move from their safe country environs to the whirl of the Melbourne city, the soon to be Lelu were found in the backstreets of Richmond hungry, on-edge, fending off dragon chasers, cold and always a little drunk. Some small years later they crossed paths again, and so began the experiment, with each coming from elsewhere but going to the one place. It began. Now the three-piece are defining who they are with the songs they make, seamlessly creating and recreating themselves, and stepping firmly ahead.
