Epic tone, beguiling melodies and poignant lyrics wrapped up in a healthy dose of funk ensure an enthralling listening experience for audiences. The simple three piece format embraced by Leonards Slippers creates a platform to showcase the distinctive sounds driven by frontman Scot Free. Sharing the unsung works of philosophical poet Drow Smith, their powerful compositions and rich, soulful vocals combine to deliver a rare authentic sound. Featuring brilliant young artist Carlo Fisher on drums and musical progeny Wren Brown on guitar or keys, audiences will be drawn into the 'zone' as they journey into new musical realms with Leonards Slippers. Formed in March 2020 after connecting through improvisation sessions with Northern Rivers based arts event ArtWomb the band has been blessed to explore their creative development throughout the strange days inspired by COVID-19 and are raring to hit the stage and engage with audiences as the live music scene begins to reemerge.
