Leroy Johnson and The Waterbag Band sing campfire songs, protest ballads and tales from the heart of far west (so called) New South Wales. The soulful voice of Barkindji / Malyangappa National Park Ranger Leroy Johnson, is joined by mandolin, bass, didgeridoo, and harmonies, for a folk / country blend of traditional music with ancient and contemporary stories. He’s joined by a band of friends who met on the road to Mutawintji, the most magical place on earth. Leroy and the Band have entertained audiences all over the state, from thousands of caravaners at the Mundi Mundi Bash in Silverton, to a full house at the Sydney Opera House, with Sydney Youth Orchestras.
