Soulful. Melodic. Pants. Three words that embody the extatic enigma that is Lexie Mgee. A love child of confusion, Lexie sprung fully formed from the loins of a glitter encrusted children's pantomime and the underbelly of a gin soaked burlesque club. After spending years crafting her silly face making skills and contrary folk-comedia anthems, Lexie is here to sing you the songs of her people. She sings what she knows – which just happens to be the intimate lifestyle choices of magical creatures, gender diversity, and the cultural significance of your child’s haircut. With soul felt strumming and flawless flailing, Lexie McGee lovingly assaults audience’s emotions with manipulative sad-chords which ensure a stirring of lyrical confusion in their hearts and loins. Lexie McGee will have you in fits of giggles while transporting you to a fantastical world filled with unicorns, mermen and bowl cuts. Interpretive dance is incoraged, possibly even mandatory.
