(LFI - stands for Lost For Ideas) LFI is a 4 piece indie rock band from Townsville, made up by Finn Hansen - vocals/lead guitar, Tim Fryer - rhythm guitar/backing vocals, Ben Fryer - bass/backing vocals, and Riley Clark - drums. The band began in 2012 when Finn, Tim, and Riley were in high school, originally with another bass player. At first the 4 piece were a cover group, playing songs by bands such as the Kooks, The Arctic Monkeys, Weezer, and more. It was only in 2015 after the three had graduated and all turned 18 when they recruited Ben Fryer on bass, and began to play gigs in the 18+ music scene of Townsville. Around the same time, the band began developing their own set of original music. Venues were often pubs to begin with. However the band gradually developed a good reputation, and later scored bigger gigs at night clubs/local events. This also included supporting more popular bands around town. E.g.
