From the bustling streets of Sydney to the laid-back charm of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Liam Brew found his love for country music early in life, strumming a guitar gifted by his parents at just five years old. Despite their own contrasting tastes in music, Liam's passion for country music unravelled, especially after a chance encounter with a school janitor who ignited his musical journey, teaching him guitar after school. Growing up on the Sunny Coast, Liam honed his craft of playing guitar and eventually added singing into the mix. Allowing him to discover what it was like to write and perform his own material. Throughout his late teens he took every opportunity to perform, from talent quests to big stages. His heart was set on winning a Golden Guitar, touring the country and releasing music, it turns out hard work pays off and Liam has done just that. Over the years he has released multiple chart-topping singles, toured Australia and has even shared stages and collaborated with industry heavyweights like Travis Collins and Kaylee Bell. Influenced by greats like Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson, Liam's sound is pure country, blending sincerity, humor, and an appreciation for a good time, guaranteed to get the crowds up on their feet. 15 years on, Liam's gearing up for the next chapter. After winning Star Maker in 2009 and being a Golden Guitar Finalist twice, he's ready to deepen his connection with fans and take his music to a whole new level.
