Songwriter Liam Cooper has been creating music for over a decade now but when it comes to his personal connection to the craft, it’s a bond that stretches all the way back to early childhood. Surrounded by instruments from a young age, then developing his talents as a pianist and singer during his formative years, Cooper found his footing early when it came to the type of artistry he’d go on to develop more in later years. His is a sound formed around lush and emotive instrumentation, anchored by heartfelt and open storytelling. Influenced by the likes of Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Coldplay, Maggie Rogers and HAIM, Cooper’s music brings melody together with a variety of progressions with ease and stunning impact.
