Combining music production, photography, live performance, videography and editorial articles LIAM GALE documents the homosexual experience in Gadigal/Sydney. A guitarist by trade and a singer by nature, LIAM GALE was once a fixture on the folk circuit (Wollombi Festival, FBi Social, Frolic Festival, Folk Club and soooo many shows at Hibernian House). Now he finds himself at queer cabarets performing camp classics and sultry originals in a signature blues style (Sydney Mardi Gras, World Pride and Sydney Pride, MONA FOMA Hobart, Sydney Solstice, Queerbourhood, MCA Upstairs, Bona to Varda). Balancing pop influences on one hand and a blues & folk backbone on the other, LIAM GALE's latest work ST VALENTINE is sensual and multidimensional. Silky saxophones and pulsing harmonies cruise along magnetic rhythms, ST VALENTINE is hooky, yet mysterious: a potent blend of slick production and old school instrumentation.
