Hailing from the southern suburbs of melbourne, LGD are a crew that finds a home for itself somewhere between that of an expected rock show, and that of a dead band. With a melancholic blend of raw sounds, complex lyrical flows, and imposing lyrics that command attention, LGD offer a sound that challenges the current trends and provides a new perspective on Australian Hip Hop music that is powerful, moving and heavily “song” driven. Intelligent, socially conscious, and with realistic visions of life, Dj's podium and Buttcrack have produced music that draws from diverse sound sources, from raw vinyl samples to emotional pianos, heart wrenching strings to pounding kick drums. We are pretty tough.
