Known for his emotive imagery and vicious rhymes in lyrics, Lil Jul (Julien) started off as a poet in school and slowly worked his way up as a lyricist, singer-songwriter and producer. For him, hip hop was his weapon to battle issues at hand during adolescence. As the years progressed he worked on several mixtapes, and developed an immersive vocal style to accompany his seasoned verses. Being multi-lingual he aims to incorporate his various influences in to his music, bringing a unique and favorable sound. Lil Jul has challenged the stages of "Frolic Cabaret" (2019), "Ballarat Hip Hop Nights at The Eastern" (2019), "ACEtravaganza" (2020) as well as recently in local concert "Ballarat Sonika Records - Album Launch" (2021) across Ballarat, Melbourne and beyond. In 2022 he held his first headliner concert "Underground Live!", alongside various local talents at Ballarat Trades Hall.
