Limousine…Defined by dictionaries as a large, luxurious automobile usually driven by a chauffeur. In this case, the definition reflects a large, luxurious sound driven by burning ambition and exceptional taste in classic equipment. The beginnings: Just a few guys playing in some of Sydney’s premier venues, like-minded souls continually crossing paths without actually working together. Yes, they were mates first! Col Ganderton, Pete Stanley and Mark Cunningham had known each other for years before realising their attitude and commitment towards being in a band were the same - a straight-talking, focused, “deliver on your promises” approach. In late 2004 they decided to join forces in a new project - Limousine. During the next year the band played numerous shows allowing them to travel the east coast.
