Abbey Lindsey is a songwriter and producer from Sydney. In 2021, Lindsey released their debut album "A Collection of Deceptions”, narrating and unveiling their somber and raw experiences endured as a young adult. The overall sound of this LP can be described as mellow, moody and thought-provoking; a warm light in the midst of a dark room. Lindsey’s softly spoken, yet melodious vocal style acts as a medium and vehicle in bringing their written poetry to life. It is an album that moves from deep despair to a tender hug of hope and individual growth, featuring MJ Whyte, Delia O'Kelly, Allerdyce and Sy. Over the last year, they have performed at venues including The Landsdowne, Oxford Art Factory, Waywards, The Vanguard and The Factory Theatre supporting popular Sydney bands, Before The King, The Million, Thunderfox and Mel Blue. Lindsey is currently in the process of writing and producing their second record, diving into a brighter, more energetic sound. Collaborating with good friends and musicians Olivia Wei, Aiden Bowie, MJ Whyte and Phil Langshaw, while working alongside producer Wayne Connolly, the record is planned to be released sometime in 2024.
