From our beginnings as a travelling group of Buddhist monks, Lionhead Staple have been beset by a tumultuous life. Banned and exiled by the Burmese military junta for seditious thoughts, we travelled by unicycle to seek asylum in Liechtenstein, where we made a seamless transition from traditional throat singing to reggae, Liechtenstein being a hub for reggae exploration. After a night of exuberant merry-making with the Pope we found ourselves in Australia. Still in hiding from the Burmese government and their associate, Chairman Rudd, we disguised ourselves as progressive young caucasian student-types in inner south-eastern Melbourne where we continue to express our innermost musings on revolutionary action, hybrid androgenous mutants and sex dreams.
