Lipps is Jim, Will & Luke. based in Adelaide, & formed in March 2012. All being involved in a 5 piece Post Hardcore band together 2 or so years back (whom Will & Jim are still members). The three together had chosen to take another path with music. They began writing immediately, musically influenced by up & coming acts like Girls, Yuck, Real Estate & seasoned vets like Oasis & The Arctic Monkeys After 3 weeks as a band they had recorded 6 tracks in Jim's bedroom more or less as an experiment as to where they would like to take their music. From this ideas were kept and cut & they begun writing & recording in the bedroom again. Band plans to release a 6-track demo by mid year & hopefully a release before the end of the year
