Edit history

liquid joy, a band of many colours. Their experimental first album was released by Hank and Frank from a tape in a room in a house, bereft of money. There are four members now and a producer who all work from Polycarp/Smurna Studios in Newcastle. Comprised of a chemical engineering drummer, a funk-jazz swimmer bassist, jack-of-all-genre multi-instrumentalist, and a folk singer from the country. Releasing a double single on the 15th of December 2019, noted as "great" by their parents, a second album will be released in early 2020. A tour of said album will follow. Their gigs provide something different and hopefully exciting in a world of blasé songs and styles. We don't like genres and so at our shows you can find us playing anything in any style.
