Lisa Burek channels a form of “post-industrial healing” through her music, using dark raw, dissonant sounds as a means of self-care. Influenced by percussive rhythms, experimental post-punk, and industrial music, Burek’s debut album explores themes of intimacy, the relationship with the body, pain, and resilience. Her work is intense and often shaped by cathartic, spontaneous body movements.
