Little Captain debuted to a packed out bandroom at The Grace Emily Hotel in February 2017. Formerly a duo, the addition of two new members has seen them grow - every sense of the word. The comparisons to other artists are few and far in between, which highlights the bands diversity and originality. Taking inspiration from artists like Courtney Barnett, Lou Reed and Paul Kelly, this indie-rock pop outfit from Adelaide, SA are definitely one to keep an eye on. In their first year as a full band, Little Captain independently released and launched two singles (‘You’re the Trash…I Am the Bin’ and ‘The End’), toured interstate, performed on the main stage of the Semaphore Music Festival and began rehearsals for what would go on to be a sold-out show at this year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival. Little Captain are releasing new music later in 2018.
