Little Jonny started when front man Jonathan Thomsen moved to Sydney in 2012 to pursue a busking career. Thomsen had recently taken up the ukulele and he used his hours on the street to develop a new sound and write new songs. In Feb 2016 Thomsen and Bassist and Guitarist Kurt Roberts came to the Yodelay studio. Working with their old band mate Michael de Cecco as drummer and sound engineer they recorded a self-titled EP that samples their unique style.
