Lizard Johnny is a hobart band started in 2010 with the idea of creating a sound propelled by a heavy blend of Sabbath style riffs, swirling psychedelia and Stooges-esque freak outs. Playing heavy, guitar driven psychedelic rock driven by a propensity for fuzz pedals, wild drums, creamy overdriven bass and spaced out lyrics is nothing new, but Lizard Johnny put a spin on it that blurs the rules and limits.
