Formed down on the misty Mornington Peninsula swamps, Lizard Man are a four-piece alternative rock band, inspired by the grunge rockers of yesteryear and the diverse alt-rock depths of the homegrown rock scene. 2013 has been a productive year for Lizard Man, having released their self-titled debut EP—mastered by legendary Melbourne icon Jack the Bear—and with their passionate, high-energy sets resonating across town. These four lads share an affinity with music, a thirst for live performance, and the desire to create rock music with substance. Driven by a love of the riff, thunderous drums, and soaring choruses, Lizard Man’s live shows are bound to get the crowd sizzling on a hot bed of rock.
