llupa aka Tom Herbert-Doyle has been writing tunes on and off for about 5 years. His first foray into writing was while working as an Assistant in a London recording studio, as it was the best way he could learn about the mountains of gear on offer. After moving to Australia he got into live engineering, working with many local bands. He soon realised that mixing death metal bands wasnt for him so ended up ditching the engineering to focus on his own productions. Initially influenced by the early Big Beat scene in London, he fell into dance music in a big way, progressing through many genres and ending up almost where he began in Breaks. Over the last couple of years he started to find his own writing style, developing a penchant for the deeper end of breaks. Working out of his home studio he's been putting out new material, entering remix competitions and honing his DJ skills again resulting in two original tunes out on Sango Music, a Switchshift Remix out on West Records and DJ
