Loemax live in Adelaide. Experienced performers, they play to audiences that appreciate indie rock, irrespective of whether its still cool or not. Like everything with this band, there is no in-between, no middle ground, no halfway. One for all or none at all. Gabe, Brugh and Kam have played together in previous projects over the years, reforming in 2002 under the banner of Loemax. Their intention was to adopt a new musical style, writing songs that are simultaneously harmonious and lyrical, drawing from the harder elements of bands like Helmet, At the Drive In, early Big Heavy Stuff, Mogwai, and High Dependency Unit, among others. Two-thousand-and-five saw Loemax play support spots to the likes of Gerling and Screamfeeder, and their loyal allegiance of fans continue to grow.
