Looking After Scott started about three years ago in 2005 when Sean Russell bought a electric guitar and after a week of playing the instrument started jamming with bass guitarist friend, Jonathan Langdale. After their first jam session they realized that they had a unique sound which was created by the combination of Sean’s love of 80s metal bands such as Iron Maiden and Jon’s interest in classic punk such as The Clash and the Sex Pistols. The only thing that this dynamic duo lacked was a drummer who would add to the original sound. Jon’s brother, William Langdale, had always had a passion for learning instruments and he had started learning the keyboard from the age of seven. His most recent musical endeavour lead him to learning jazz drumming. William learnt very quickly and his style of drumming added to the unique nature of the music.
