Just growing up surfing and a growing appreciation of nature, my friends that i surfed with alot played guitar, and i heard a Jack Johnson song "Symbol in My driveway" and decided i had to learn to play guitar. My mate taught me the basic chords then i went from there i havent had any music lessons and thought myself musically challenged until i played guitar. the music i listen to is varied like everyone but i find alot of solitude in bands like Wilco and Coldplay, and always had a massive appreciation of lyrics like Bob Dylan and Bright Eyes
