Lost In The Past (LITP) are a heavy rock/metal band from Bendigo, Australia, formed in 2024 by songwriter, vocalist and lead guitarist Aaron Pearce, alongside drummer Riley Hayes and rhythm guitarist Hayden Becker. Sitting at the heavier end of hard rock, LITP blend a subtle ’90s edge with dark, guitar-driven songwriting and a sound that moves between heavy rock and metal. Drawing influence from Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, System of a Down and Avenged Sevenfold, the band have developed a distinctive sound built around powerful riffs, darker themes and strong melodies. Their debut single “That’s That” reached #2 on the Atomic Top 20 Australian Independent Chart, holding the position for six consecutive weeks, and placed #33 on the 2025 Annual Chart. In 2026, the track gained international recognition when LITP were named finalists in the Australasian Rock category of the InterContinental Music Awards. LITP followed their debut with “Seat by the Fire” and “Better Off Alone”, continuing to develop the darker, heavier direction that has become central to their sound. Their music has reached listeners across more than 60 countries and received support from independent radio and music media both in Australia and internationally. Live, LITP have built their experience through headline shows, festival appearances and support slots, including joining Ramstone on the Victorian leg of their Power Tour and supporting Sydney rock band No Bull on the Victorian leg of their Rock n Roll Remains Forever Tour. In 2027, LITP will make their international touring debut with the Birth of Time Tour, heading to Japan alongside Ramstone for 12 shows across the country. With new material in development and work continuing towards their debut album, Lost In The Past continue to expand both their sound and their reach beyond Australia.
