Everything's driven by the bass. And few bass players can match the 40 plus year career of Nev Whitehead. Check out his bio on Wikipedia if you like. These days he's one of Australia's leading luthiers, but his background as a player is unsurpassed. From Jazz icons to the Canterbury Jazz-Rock fusion scene of the late '60's, Nev's played with some of the greats. The rhythm section of Dave Williamson and Phil Hogan keeps it all tight whilst moving effortlessly from blues to jive to ska and back again. Lead Guitarist Kinnon Holt confirms his reputation as one of the most expressive blues guitarists around. Over it all is Lou's growling voice and exhilarating harp playing. It's a different take that breathes life into some classic blues.
