Cow bell, shakers, güiro and congas star alongside smoky vocals, tremolo guitar and dry humour in Louis Valentine & The Golden Age. Drawing heavily on Motown, 60s rock ‘n’ roll and Brit Pop bands from the turn of the century, Louis Valentine & The Golden Age play soul-pop tunes infused with latin rhythms, sung by a bloke who fancies himself as a "young Joe Cocker, without sideburns". After two EPs and a bunch of sold-out live shows, Louis Valentine & The Golden Age have just recorded a full-length album and are ready to unleash their unique brand of soulful rock ‘n’ roll on the world.
