Lucid Drift is an independent hip-hop artist based in Cairns, Far North Queensland. Known for his introspective lyricism and atmospheric production, he creates music that sits somewhere between late-night reflection and emotional release. Fusing mellow beats with raw honesty, his sound is shaped by personal stories of growth, mental health, and navigating life’s quiet chaos. Inspired by artists like Mac Miller, J. Cole and Kid Cudi, Lucid Drift blends soulful vulnerability with a laid-back delivery that cuts deep without shouting. Tracks like “Dim Your Glow” and “Me & You” showcase his ability to connect through mood, message, and melody. Representing the voice of those who feel things deeply, Lucid Drift is steadily building his presence from the tropics of Cairns—writing songs that don’t just ask to be heard, but felt.
