Luconix is a Sydney-based electronic producer. At the ripe age of 10, Luconix began learning how to play various instruments, eventually leading him down a career path in music. Although he started out playing heavier rock music (similar to that of Avenged Sevenfold, All That Remains and Nine Inch Nails), he later developed an interest in musical production. “Listening to electronic dance music was a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine,” he said. “I had always liked it but didn’t know too much about it, and I always kept it to myself.” At the age of 19, Luconix moved to Melbourne to attend RMIT University and study audio engineering. After graduating, he moved back to Sydney. He was later introduced to dubstep for the first time. From there, with the encouragement of friends, he went on to produce his first EP, It Kills Me, and the rest is history.
