Lucy Chan is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter. Drawing inspiration from the music of the 80s and 90s, her music presents modern pop with a nostalgic twist. Her music encompasses genres such as pop, teen-pop, dance-pop, and synth-pop. Artists such as ABBA, Madonna, Britney Spears, and Taylor Swift are her biggest influences. Coming from a musical family, Lucy began classical piano lessons at the age of 4, and quickly showed her devotion and dedication to a lifelong musical career. At the age of 12, Lucy wrote her first complete song, and not long after, began writing songs frequently as a form of escapism. Each one of Lucy’s songs is inspired by her personal life and experiences. Themes of love, heartbreak, and chasing success are all apparent in her storytelling lyricism and moving melodies.
