Edit history

Lukae is an indie pop artist from Meanjin, Australia who worked for one of the most-recognised Australian music studios at age 18 before COVID struck. Non-binary, queer, musical training and big studio experiences with artists they cannot name here (at the biggest studio Australia has) means Lukae's music can be anything. They're the result of the first generation on the internet for their whole lives; genre-less, altruistic and obsessive love for their own pursuit of musical expression is always there. Inspired by other multi-instrumentalists like Jacob Collier or John Lennon, Lukae has clocked up well over a million streams on their productions and solo efforts. This is also a result of the diverse musical skills they've built since youth. National Radio plays and consistent DSP support have accompanied Luake releases from their debut in 2020, and other industry stakeholders are patiently waiting for the first full-length release from Meanjin's latest introspective songbird.
